Liz & I snowshoed the south Banana Lake trail on Sunday to find out if the last Tuesday group went astray. They did not.
They had followed the trail faithfully to within about 200 meters of Banana Lake. It was a little confusing at that point, no trail markers or even clear indication of a trail. Had they continued about another 100 meters they would have glimpsed the lake through the trees.
We marked the trail and cleared brush on the way back and it is a pleasant hike on the broken trail.
