Hi Phil,
Nickie and Gerry led ten of us to Little Quirke Lake under cloudy skies and plus 2C temperatures. Still lots of snow in the bush and at
least two feet of packed snow under the skidoo trail that we took. We arrived at the lake shore by noon. The skies had cleared and
the temperature rose to plus 7C so we walked onto the ice to have lunch on the first point to our right. The snow was getting quite
soft by the time we arrived back at the vehicles. A perfect early spring hiking day.
