Gerry, & Nickie took 12 plus 1/2 hikers through Denison Mine site. Chuck had his grandson (Quinn) out on the hike today, it was good to see a younger one enjoying himself out there. It was just the perfect day for a hike, the wind kept the bugs away, and we were able to view many different wild flowers, The blueberries are getting close to picking. We saw 3 different groups of geese and their visiting cards, on the tailing pond. We heard a loon also. Quinn saw a snake & captured it temporarily. We scared up 2 sandhill cranes, twice, that flew over top of us crackling away in annoyance. Perfect area to enjoy a hike in paradise.
