Some are blue, but another week and we need some heat on 'em.
A beautiful day for a hike. Phill & Liz lead a group of 24 hikers to the high rocks, just past Moose Lake on Stanrock Road. We hiked up a few rock cliffs, and just ate blueberries on the way to the top. When we reached the top we saw a wonderful view of Popeye Lake, Quirke Lake and Gander Lake in the distance. Fred showed us a bit of mining history dating back 45 Years, A concrete block he placed on the dome. We ate & picked more blueberries, and then we hiked back down to the cars for part 2 of our hike.
