GREAT NEWS!
Alan has arranged for a delivery of lumber to the parking lot of the Cobre Lake Trail on Friday, 21st. August. This is part the lumber donated by the MNR for the various repair and renovation jobs on the Cobre Lake Trail.
On Monday, 24th. August work will start on the boardwalk at the start of the trail. This will go from the parking lot, across the stream and wet area, thus enabling much easier access to the trail, particularly in spring and other wet times - like this summer!
We will have help from the Job Creation Program who have granted us the 3 x 10 hour days for the project.
WE WILL NEED VOLUNTEERS, IN ADDITION, TO GET THIS JOB COMPLETED.
Please look at your schedules and see if you can give some time on Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th and Weds. 26th. Aug. or any one of those days. No heavy lifting.
