Snowshoe Outing on Helen's Trail.

20 hikers came out on this cool, but windless, morning to hike Helens Trail near Gander Lake. This is a beautiful woodland trail, an abandoned trappers trail, and offers a real "winter wonderland" experience. Heavy snow cloaking the trees and great views from the high pre cambrian ridge before descending to the bog and the return trip over the lakes. Thx to Scott for these pics.
