Snowshoe Trail

Watch that lot. Great down the neck!

Fixing Jims broken snowshoe. Had to buy a new pair.

Tuesday, 15th. February, Shelley lead 14 hikers on the ever beautiful Snowshoe Trail. Several trees down. Jim broke a snowshoe. Thx to Scott for the pics.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
