Nineteen hikers, led by Shelley, made their way along an old mine road off Stanrock Road, up and down numerous hills to a lovely lunch spot overlooking Northspan Lake. It was a hot day with lots of dragonflies and other flying buggy things and most of us came away with more than one insect bite.
