Steve led 16 hikers to the North side of Banana Lake, but we missed the turnoff to the trail for Banana Lake & ended up at an old beaver dam, marsh & 2 beaver ponds. Before we ended the hike, we sighted the trail on the return trip. We followed the trail for a while, and decided it would be too long for the day's hike. We will do that trail another day; entrance is now well marked! We won't miss it next time!!! PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
