A group of 10 hikers led by Barry weathered the -17C with windchill temperature for a hike around Sheriff Lake. Signs of our 4 legged friends were seen in the snow; a hare and what we think were wolf tracks, all fresh in the new snowfall. Lunch was at a spot where beavers have taken down large white birch trees, leaving us a place to sit. On our way out, we came across two foxes who were also trying to enjoy a quiet lunch. One of them was not so shy and let me take a picture. CLICK HERE for photos.
