In subzero temperatures, 19 eager hikers made their way to the shore of Northspan Lake on the Spanish-American minesite to enjoy hot food and comraderie around a wood fire. Tree stumps were our chairs, sticks were our wiener cookers and our Canadian flag stood proudly. Many thanks to Grant, Jim, George and Ron for all the preparation of the trail and firepit; hard work for them so we could enjoy such a wonderful day. CLICK HERE for photos
