Easy Hike, Quirke Tailings, April 16

Shelley chose well as she led a group of 21 hikers at the Quirke Tailings today.  Why? Because no sooner had we spotted elk tracks and bemoaned the fact that we never actually have the pleasure of seeing the animals themselves when lo and behold, there they were!  First we spotted one, then another, then some more...an elk bonanza!!  Needless to say, a great outing today.  PHOTOS
