This morning, 10 hikers enjoyed a nice easy hike to lower Rochester falls. The wind was a bit nippy but the sunshine was enough to lift our spirits. We all noticed a lot of bird activity on our way there and a beautiful fox made an appearance on our return trek. The “pièce de résistance” was without a doubt the falls at the end of the trail. We have seldom, if ever seen, so much water cascading down from Rochester Lake. It was a sight to behold.
