Coureurs de Bois March 19 th /2019 Meeting
Art F. opened the meeting @ 7 pm.

Minutes of previous meeting approved by Phill B., second by Pam E. Carried.
Treasurer’s Report approved by Jim M., second by Rick M. Carried.
The meeting informally opened at 6 pm with a gear swap and pizza night.
Vice-Presidents Report
Art F. mentioned a big thank-you to all of those who helped out with our Winterfest Snowshoe event. We had 75 guests, an increase from last year. This event helps the Coureurs de Bois toget a good name within the community and City Hall. Ron T. sends his thanks all of those who helped out with the firepit on Horne Island.
A Volunteer Appreciation Dinner was held afterward at George’s Restaurant. Thanks again toall of our volunteers!
Art F. (on behalf of Ron T.) mentioned that we are getting some more bush clearing equipment; brush saws and some new chains for the chainsaws.
New Business -
Rick M. talked about the Board receiving some type of stipend for all of the work they do. This gesture was very much appreciated, but we all work toward making the organization great inthe role of volunteers.
Chuck Z. made a motion to donate $200.00 to The Special Olympics. Second by David N.
Carried.
Next Meeting is our Hike Leaders Meeting on March 26 th @ 2:30 pm.
Next general meeting scheduled for May 21 st /2019 @ 7 pm at the Clubhouse.
