What a great way to start June....9 of us happy hikers led by Jean Guy walked the shoreline on road of Lake Huron along Hwy 538 in Algoma Mills. We took a side road off it further on passing lovely summer homes, greeted by friendly owners, even found remains of very old sleds rusting away ( for horse and cutter days) probably used in winter as means of transportation. Lunch was along the pier. To top it off.....NO blackflies or mosquitoes today....what a great choice Jean Guy made!
