** new pictures** Steve led 18 of us on his first hike today, north of town on "Grant's Trail".. lots of twists and turns, few serious hills (a rarity for Elliot Lake) and fine hiking weather... ridge overlooking Rye lake, reforested jack pine, black spruce, scotch and white pine.. fresh snow started just as we came to the end... good day and fine company.
