Five Lively Hikers set out from Glendon Park this am. We decided to keep our hike short to prevent frostbite due to the Wind chill. We only stayed out for 75 minutes but in that short time we saw many trails for future hikes.
Our trail took us from Glendon Park baseball field to the hydro substation at the end of Spine Rd and back. As we hiked along different hikers would point out where some trails started or connected with the trail where we were.
Back at Mc Donald's we discussed GPS ing all of those small connecting trails bordered by Slipper Lake , OFSC Trail and the marshy area near the Washington Snow dump. All these trails are at our doorstep. We would like to share them with other hike leaders.
To celebrate the fact that it is almost St. Valentin Day and also that no one froze any body parts we enjoyed chocolate Hershey Kisses with our coffee.
