After meeting at the SCOTIA BANK parking lot, we will start at Spine beach (or limited parking, 4 more senior hikers, at end of Spine Rd. (Hydro substation)). We will start at the hydro sub station on the James Snow trail to the junction tree, then Snakes and Ladders (just the Snakes part) to our lunch rocks overlooking (in theory) Slipper Lake. Then back to the junction tree and back to the ATV road on the Hector Connector. That way, our only (almost) uphill is at the start and we can (almost) "coast" down the ATV road/hill, back to the cars. Thank you Sue, for the Thursday hike on Bear Bait/Snakes and Ladders/Hector Connector and James Snow trails, ALL in 2.5 hrs! Reminder to access BearBait from the Slipper Lake boat launch (NOT the ATV trail), as the tree stand and bait station are still active. jim b
