Started out toward McCabe Lake
BUT,......we started out that direction, off the south side of Stanrock Rd., and over the Pallet Bridge. We went straight, past the left branch that we normally take to McCabe Lake. At the T, we went left first, a nice flat non muddy road, toward the north end of Crotch Lake. Then, we doubled back and had lunch on the other leg of the T. There were 15 of us in all, and the route was suggested as a great snow shoe/back country ski route by Jean Guy. It is FLAT and NON muddy, both a rarity for Elliot Lake right now! THANKS for the Suggestion Jean Guy!
