Emily led 13 snowshoe clad hikers out past the Esten boat launch to Spur lake... just over 10 k .... first time this year on snowshoes for most and a few, first time ever... lots of tracks in the new snow, Jim sighted a fox, mice, squirrels, fox and perhaps a wolf.. wing impressions from a hunting owl... -12 or so, quiet and still in the woods... fox track crossing the lake.... good friends perfect day.
