Wednesday, August 18, 8 club members and 2 acquaintances hiked from Orphan Lake access to the Coldwater River access of the Lake Superior Coastal Trail. This hike provided us with many challenges as well as breath taking views. Leaving on Tuesday, some of us camped and the others stayed in hotels. We met at the Coldwater River point and left vehicles, then proceeding on to Orphan Lake. this is a recommended hike but very challenging.
