Astrid led a group of 8 hikers on the Snowshoe Trail for a 7 plus km hike. We followed the trail, stopping for a break at a clearing alongside the Serpent River. We then enjoyed an “off trail” section, following the river for a bit, and then crossing through lovely open meadows, leading us back to the trail on the berm, and eventually a return to the cars. A pleasant hike enjoyed by all of us, and as usual, we all learned something new along the way!
