A special hike is being planned for Sept 9th. This is being posted now just to let you prepare for a significant challenge.
Jimchrist Trail (11 km, 6 hours, difficult), which explores the mixed hardwoods and large white pines, wetlands and lakes below the Helenbar Lookout. This trail climbs a series of ridges and hills and follows an old ATV trail. This trail was cleared earlier this year, however parts of this trail are a bit overgrown with ferns and other vegetation. The low parts of the trail by the lakes very muddy. Parking is available at the trail head, meet there at 09:00. For further information, feel free to contact Brian.
