Jean Guy led 22 hikers from the golf course up the VTA trail to rainbow ridge.. steady climb up,to an amazing lookout... overcast, blustery fall day... snow can't be far off... good chatting with a few hikers that have been away for various reasons.. the summer boaters are back I guess.,, we try to get back to "certified" hiking protocols after getting a bit lax over the past year.. anyhow 3.5 hours in the woods with wind in my hair, (up my back, up my pant leg, etc.) good company, cold water in my flask, even the odd joke. Life is good
