We received this lovely letter from Brenda Clark
I am not a member of the Coureur de Bois hiking group, but I benefit from using your trails, and I wanted to give a special thanks this year for your many efforts at clearing them all. I help maintain trails at Sheriff Creek, and so understand some of the grunt work you’ve endured! I know you often hike much further to reach the downed trees before you even start the heavy stuff. Recently we have visited the High Rocks, the Wilkie Lake trail, and a portion of Helen’s trail. All three show recent signs of lots of hard work by your people. Congratulations on all your efforts! It was a particularly hard year. Ian and I have helped occasionally in small ways over the years, cutting out the odd stray tree that has fallen on one of your trails, by way of “paying” for the use of the trail. Thanks again to your hard workers! May the beavers treat you kindly – Brenda Clark.
