16 hikers went on the Sheriff Lake upper trail and down the hill past the dam, and back along the creek to the cars. Phill and Jackie saw a beaver yesterday, in the creek just below the raven's nest. It appeared to have maybe found an interesting food source, as there is no obvious lodge in the immediate area. Big thanks to sweep Camilla for getting us all back safely, across Milliken Rd. (twice) in a line that would make Gerry proud! 4 were on snow shoes that helped pack it for the rest, and Phill and Jackie prepacked it for us yesterday. jim
