A change in venue today due to the rain last night. Instead of going to Bolgers Lake, 5 hardy? souls left the parking lot at the bank and drove up Dunlop Shores road to the trailhead for Summers Lake. There were a few water obstacles and a truck that we had to get off of the trail to allow it to pass, other than that it was fairly good. there was minimal ice due to the rain last night.
The sun managed to come out a few times which brightened up the hike a bit. We came across some fresh bear cub tracks. No sign of the mother. All in all it was a really nice hike.
