We were contemplating Summer Lake Rd., also known as Larry's Lane to some "not so old" old timers, but due to the weather conditions 17 hikers wound up on the McCabe recreation trail instead. There were some slushy sections, once we crossed Bill and Bonnie creek! Terry, Frank and Jim were reminiscing about the "good old days" before computers and cell phones, when our mum's whistled for us to come home for supper, after the 3rd street light came on!
