Dave led a group of 8 up the fire tower road to the top, along the ridge trail back towards the ski hill to the Jackrabbit junction and followed the top branch back to the road and so to the cars.. A whole lot of up hill to start and a short steep down on the trail back.. the bush trail was mostly snow free but wet leaves, thick on the ground, made for a bit of fancy footwork on occasion.
It was great to be back in the woods without snowshoes. Good workout on the climb.. hardly felt the cold...
