BANANA LAKE 2022 07 16

Bill and Bonnie led the hike today to various spots on Liz’s trail to Banana Lake.  The bugs were fairly heavy on this sunny warm day and Dave got the prize for the most swatted deer flies and horse flies.  We took a couple of side trips to view the lake from the shore line and another at the top of the hill for the outlook over the lake at Liz’s bench.  After that we continued on the main trail to the lakeside clearing for a lunch break.  There we watched the loons diving and calling each other. After the break the trek back was at a steady pace back to the road.  We past a diamond drilling hole and JeanGuy was explaining that process.  A good hike all around .  Thanks to sweep JG and help out from Tom Jackie and Emily
