LITTLE QUIRKE LAKE 2022 11 17

 We had a good turnout of 12 today for the trek to the Little Quirk Lake campsite.  Our point man (not the hike leader) set a decent pace and we had frequent breaks for recovery.  We had a variety of cured, carbo and sweet things over the fire.  Discussions varied from pensions to techniques of roasting marshies.  Some hikers complemented the "pioneering" work done on this site and the side trail is getting better the more times we use it.  The leader is looking forward to a return trip in frigid January, where the benefits of a fire will be truly appreciated.
