After the 8-10 inch snowfall, 5 of us turned up to hike.. I led the group out to the sanctuary (much) to do the red trail.. breaking trail, first time on snowshoes, the red was enough.. 2 used the shoes, Renee had new ones to try.. snow laden trees and benches made for lovely vistas. we found a beaver path but no tracks in the new fallen snow.. a few chickadees at the bird feeders. Quiet in the woods, bit of snow started again as we left.. warmed as we hiked,
pleasant coffee after.. good to be alive..
