Was an interesting hike for sure today. 10 of us headed out to Dunlop Shores Rd to the parking area for Summers Lake. Just before we got to the parking we were greeted by a beautiful low flying bald eagle. What a sight! A mixed bag of weather guided us up and down the hills and around the small ponds that have formed on the trail. There was huge black clouds, periods of sunshine, a few almost heavy short rainfalls and some ominous thunder off to the north west. Great adventure even though the hike was slightly extended because someone wasn't paying attention.
