Chuck led the large group (15) from the baseball field on Washington Cres. Into the bush. The trail is well established and we ran into other hikers on a similar trek. The new snow made for a pretty walk and the cheery gang enjoyed the extensive conversation and sharp whit. After a bit of challenging trail climb we stopped for a snack break overlooking the frozen swamp and talked about the end of the trail going to Hector Lake. Several of the longer term club members were out again which was great to see.
