A hardy bunch of hikers set off quickly to get out of the nasty, incessant wind. The trail did not disappoint us and we were warm and happy chatting and getting all caught up with hikers who had been away. We elected to break at the cranberry bog rather than at the Serpent River where the wind was particularly cold and fierce. The trail is in good condition but we all agreed we need to change the path of the trail where it is somewhat dangerous for us senior hikers. I feel we all enjoyed the hike but I didn’t chance asking anyone!!
