Today we had a very nice hike to the Cinder Lake area with a group of nine fellow CDBr's We made some new acquaintances, sang campfire songs, cleared trails, and learned a little about botany along the way. The cool breezes and occasional cloud cover made the weather nearly perfect for our adventure. After covering a distance of 3.5 kilometers in approx 2 hours, we had a quick lunch then made it back to our cars. The group felt refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the day, thanks to Jean Guy for taking the group and Chuck for co-piloting and Eva for keeping the group corralled.
