ANGEL LAKE 2023 07 18

Eight Great Hikers headed from the corner of Pearson and and Esten North and flawlessly performed the "C de B road crossing technique" across Scott Rd .

We headed east along EL ATV 2 trail towards the south shore of Angel ðŸ˜‡ Lake. We made a brief foray into a rocky outcropping on Jake's Lake.  There is a ready made camping site there with an A frame shelter ready and waiting for a camper with a tarp.

Many wildflowers colored the open areas with purple, yellow and  even a slight tinge of red on some maple leaves. There were some signs of wildlife: wolf scat; fox scat; and some bear and maybe  wolf tracks.

Lunch on the shore of Angel Lake was supplemented by blueberries and some chocolates shared by one of the hikers.

The Split Rock hill was a bit of a challenge on the way up but, everyone survived. However, no  problem on the way down! Amazing what gravity and heading home  can do !

Many thanks to Renee for a great job sweeping!!
