David led 11 hikers down past the golf course and on up the hill to Rainbow ridge. Raspberry drew our attention on the way up and blueberry at the top.. Someone had mowed up to Ryan Lake and Jim had macheted the ferns all the way to the top.. we had a break at the breathtaking view and came down the other trail. Needs some attention by the clearing crews but very passable.. we haven't used it much lately and it shows..5 or 6 trees across the trail..
Good crew and only one fall.. goof wasn't watching and tripped on a stick.. ferns have encroached on the walking trail making it hard to see at times.but I fell on the cleared part..
lovely warm day, few mossies, few deerfly and warm enough to enjoy the shade.. snacks from Mara
