no leader scheduled so David led the 4 of us out to Sheriff Lake.. touched the shore three places.. watched a loon, heard it calling after we left.. loads of wild flowers, ripe pin cherry, toads of varying sizes, big ravens, new hiker.. warm day with a touch of a breeze.. queen anne's lace has erupted out there.. ripe raspberry s too. New hiker Jen.. did well..
