15 avid hikers showed up on a pleasant Saturday morning to be led on a hike in to Banana Lake.
After checking in, checking equipment and supplies off we went to Dunlop shores road to park and head up the hill into the bush. The trail had several pools that we easily circumvented and David unerringly led the way into the viewpoint overlooking the lake. Liz's bench is still in good shape after a couple of winters.
2.5 hours, lots of exposure to mom nature and comradery. and we were back at the trailhead.. I had forgotten how nice that trail is and wondered why we hadn't been in there this year..
It does need a clear team as several trees are across the trail.
