A group of ladies were waiting at the bank this morning eager for a hike - but it was a TBA and no leader had showed up as yet. Renee F. came with her sign up sheet just in case, and later Emily arrived as well, so we were no longer “leaderless”. It was a “ladies hike” today (not a man in sight!) and the Sheriff Lake loop was chosen. It was a gorgeous day for a hike and lots of chatter! We stopped to view the raven’s (?) nest by the creek, had a small break at Sheriff Lake for water, snacks and chats, and then followed the loop back to our cars. Not a long hike, but always a favourite trail for a Monday hike.
