Rooster rock, Split rock, Firetower lookout, Cup and saucer...all these hikes give a sense of awe with there rugged beauty and panoramic views, you can now add Lacnor ridge to that growing list.
10 hikers met up at 10am for what would turn out to be an excellent day for a hike into an area where not many have ventured before. The fall foliage was just starting to burst with reddish purple leaves making there appearance along the hills and valleys among the shimmering waters of Dumbell lake to the south and Hidden lake to the north, the sky was cyrstal clear with views all the way south to the north channel. The infamous hike leader Jean Guy once again helped steer the group to the top and then back down safely to their cars, perfect temps no bugs great comraderie equaled time well spent.
