The Magnificent 7 met at the circle and after signing up with frozen fingers made our way to the McCabe Lake trail head. The trail surface was a mix of rock, hard packed snow and a lot of ice. Cleats were the order of the day for foot wear. There were a few slips and a couple of falls but everyone made it back to the vehicles safely. Good hike, good day and good company.
