A group of eleven hikers walked to Rye Lake where Rodd had a fire going and was relaxing in his chair while cooking his lunch. Cookies were passed around and baked apples in sauce were enjoyed by everyone. It was a fun time, but it was agreed that the next cookout would be enjoyed at a latter time in the day so lunch would not be so early
