Wolf lake 14 hikers, 4.6km 1hr 47min
The weather did indeed turn out to be stellar as 14 of us marched along the quarry rd that led us towards Wolf lake, after a brief stop at a drying up mud flat to check out the various animal tracks... moose, deer, sandhill crane, bear.... we did an impromptu clean-up and then worked our way through the forest to Wolf lake. While not terrible, the skeeters did make an appearance while we ate but overall they were not too bad especially along the road, nice to meet some folks from Mexico who joined us for the hike this morning as well. Thanks to all who came out and to the ladies who provided these pics, much appreciated.
