Eleven seasoned hikers and one new hiker, Andy, enjoyed a wondrous summer day walking around the island via Bob’s trail to the ski hill.
Laughter, lively conversations and chain saws were heard along the way. Hydro is taking down a large amount of trees at the intersection where you can go either right or left to the island. A lovely break was had at the old site where our Christmas campfires took place.It was the leader’s first hike since April and hopefully not a lot of skills were lost in the hiatus.
