The leader had a family emergency so I stepped in to lead thirteen hikers on a marvellous atv trail to our lunch destination at Camp Thompson.
The trail was truly wonderful with a colourful bed of fallen leaves, great chatter, rock collecting and some tall tales being told.
The fire pit and benches were in the full sun and we took a longer than normal break to get some sun therapy and more tall tales.
Then it was back to the cars and real life.
