A dozen club members met up at the bank for an early 9am start. We then headed down to Mt Arabella in the Whitefish Falls area and began our hike. Under almost perfect fall conditions we plodded up/down and around the land that time forgot finally reaching the summit around 1:20pm. A well deserved rest and lunch took place while we lazed around chatting and taking pics of the view that stretched out towards Little Current, after that we carefully made our way down and back to the vehicles but on our way sharp eyed Walt noticed our second bear of the day merrily munching away on Beech nuts fattening himself up for the winter. Thanks to all who supported the hike and to those who uploaded pics.
