3 joined David for a chilly walk/stomp around the red trail at the sanctuary (much) .
We did not need the snowshoes but whenever we found a side trail for a bird feeder, we stomped, widened and packed the trail to make it easier for the old guys to get in with the seeds.
We also packed the trail into the blind on the back of the pond.
Lots of hare, squirrel and grouse tracks.. saw scattered seed husks about the feeders so they are getting good use..
lots of piles of dog shit on the berm trail.. met a lovely lady with a recuperating pup, on a leash,
Sunny, no breeze to start.. clouded over, got colder, wind picked up and snow squalls before we were done. December's version of March I guess.
