Warm sunny day found me leading my postponed hike to the Chutes.
Literally Awesome. Thundering currents leaping and twisting, pounded down the channel/falls.
We wended our way north along the swirling river to the small bridge to the island, then on t the second bridge for rest stop and snack.
Group decided to go down the east side to the last viewing stand and we did that.. the trail was rocky and rooty..but dry.
A well rewarded group returned, cameras full of memories, to the cars and the ride home..
about 5km hike, warm, sunny day, warmer, sunnier hikers
